17. President Obama reads mean tweets about himself

One of Jimmy Kimmel’s best running bits are the “Mean Tweets” videos, which show celebrities of all types reading aloud to the camera some of the worst things trolls on Twitter have said about them. There’s something very comical about watching these big names actually acknowledging what the unforgiving nerds online were saying, with the stars always taking them in good fun and sometimes fighting back.

There was one particular Mean Tweets segment which was more shocking to see than any others, though, and that would be the one featuring President Obama. Of course, Obama has suffered through constant mockery and criticism throughout his two terms in the Oval Office, as any President would, but never before have we seen one go on television to publicly acknowledge some of the most vicious insults.

It’s apparent that Obama has a good sense of humor just for agreeing to appear in the bit. He delivers each mean tweet in a hilariously effective fashion, even chuckling at some of the silly insults himself. He even manages to get in a few return jabs at some of the commenters, as well. That’s why the worst part about his time as President coming to an end is that we won’t see him in any more of these segments.
