18. Nicole Kidman reveals Jimmy Fallon’s missed opportunity

Acclaimed actress Nicole Kidman is one of the most beautiful and talented women to ever grace the big screen, and there are certainly millions of men and women out there who’d love the chance to date her. If you found out you had that opportunity, but you totally blew it, would you end up kicking yourself? Because that’s the bomb Kidman dropped on Jimmy Fallon in a 2015 appearance on The Tonight Show.

On the program, Fallon and Kidman both recounted the story of when they first met through a mutual friend many years ago, through their own recollection of the events. That’s when Kidman revealed to Fallon that she had a crush on him and was hoping something would blossom between them, as she had recently split up with Tom Cruise and hadn’t yet started dating future husband Keith Urban. Until this reveal, Fallon had no clue.

Fallon was so flustered that he couldn’t stay in his seat, and wound up going to lay on the guest couch with Kidman taking his chair. But while Fallon was astounded about missing his chance with her, he did say that she definitely made the right decision by waiting for Urban.
