5. Killer Mike Educates Stephen Colbert
Most music fans, or politicians for that matter, aren’t aware of rapper Killer Mike’s knowledge and passion for the world of politics. He’s been an outspoken supporter of Bernie Sanders, and has even spoken at Bernie Sanders rallies. Stephen Colbert welcomed him this week to talk about the upcoming presidential election and his thoughts on systemic racism. It’s not a comedy bit, but many thing’s on Colbert’s late night show are thought provoking rather than for laughs. Don’t let the sweatsuit fool you.
